Valkenhorst Manor House is a luxurious and beautifully restored country house in the tranquil wooded and verdant country estate just South of Eindhoven. A true haven for friends and families to enjoy quality time together, or for business. The essence of Valkenhorst, with its monumental trees, rhododendrons, ponds, rich flora and fauna, is that of a unique private property, with gym, heated outdoor swimming pool and clay tennis court, that has retained its unique and original state over the past century.

History

The beautiful Valkenhorst Estate in Brabant owes its name to falconry. This ‘sport’ was once an important and prestigious pastime, especially at Imperial and Royal courts. Brabanders played a significant international and local role in the capture and trade of falcons. 

In 1930, the Valkenhorst Estate was built for the Loudon family. Architects, J.W. Hanrath and P.H.N. Briët were commissioned to realise a special family house in a traditional atmosphere, inspired by elements of English country houses.

The same family still owns the house after 100 years. Now it has been totally restored and renovated to a very high standard.

The 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms have been completely restyled with beautiful wallpapers, fittings and fabrics. It has an English Country house feel with a modern twist.
